About
I have been teaching music for the past 10 years and what I've learned is that most students do not want to learn theory and become a virtuoso. Most students just want to learn to play and sing the songs they love.
We will spend our time learning the songs you Love. Learning the chords and key signatures. Those are the basics that anyone needs.
I really enjoy playing my guitar. So teaching students to play is a double bonus for me I get to learn a new song the student requests. When I see the joy coming from the student as they progress through the songs they choose to play gives me a sense of satisfaction. Music, no matter what language or what country is a beautiful thing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Everyone learns differently. I like to spend a little time with the student discussing what brought them to want to learn to play the guitar and talk about songs they would like to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started playing guitar while in the sixth grade. Was in a band by the eighth grade
i've continue playing in bands and have done solo work.
Took music theory classes while in college and studied voice for one year.
Sharing music is a wonderful thing it distracts and relaxes anyone. I love sharing that feeling
I have been teaching adults and children for the past 10 years and have enjoyed every minute of it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 for a half an hour and $40 for the entire hour. Since I do live on the outskirts of Dallas teaching online for me is preferable. Of course my music room is open to anyone that wants hands-on experience and is willing to travel to my home.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching guitar when I was playing for our neighborhood in Rockwall it was a yearly thing for new families that moved into the area and I was asked by several parents if I would teach their children. That was my beginning to teaching guitar
