What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is a 30 mim private lesson where we use the Jazz Fake Book for chords and the circle of 5ths for scales. We can also use modern music for stucture.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional guitar teacher for over 25 years teaching at some of the best music stores in the metroplex. Larry Morgon Music, Anderson's Music, The School of Music, The Music Store, Brook Mays Pro Shop and presently at Texas Guitar Workshop and a private studio in Garland and Rowlett. I'm a working guitarist with over 30 years exp and with 17 years on the road. Have worked as a session player on live and recorded sessions.

What types of students have you worked with?
Can and have worked with youth age 7-11 and old as long as there is a desire to learn. Have also tought the visualy impaired.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find the one who can explain music in terms that make sense to you. There is no bad questions
If it cant be expalined simply, they don't understand it.
