I am a self taught guitar player of 16 years now! I have been through formal guitar lessons in my younger years (when I was 15), and took multiple guitar/ear/music theory classes at UIW when I was 18. I am now 27 and have made great strides in my music career. I have played guitar in multiple signed bands, and I currently play in a rock/rap group called BackWordz, and have toured all over the world playing rock shows. When at home I run a recording studio out of my house, and I love being able to dive into music on the daily with the wonderful artists that we have here in the local scene. I have real world knowledge of the skills it takes to make it as a professional guitarist, and am excited to pass my knowledge to others.I'm willing to take on any skill level student and pass all my knowledge of the sonics down!
I enjoy watching other people get bit with that same spark of passion that hit me when I was a teenager, little did I know that this would be my life and career as an adult!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate what level the student is at and make a customized game plan for the next few lessons. I also like to talk about goals for the student before the first lesson. Knowing what the student would like to achieve gives me an idea of how to get them there as quickly and efficiently as possible. I also like to re evaluate every month or so and see how the student is feeling. I know from personal experience that taste/preference can change frequently, and I would like to customize the lessons and keep them fresh to make sure that the student is always excited about learning and has fun!
