I'm willing to teach anyone with the will to learn music, and I'm excited to share my undying love for music with my students! My service stands out because I actually want my students to get better, rather than drag lessons on just for the money like many teachers I've had in the past. I'm currently teaching at grace fellowship church on 281 and can't remember a time when I did not play guitar myself. I've taught plenty of students, done many concourse performances at the AT&T center, and have done several halftime shows and national anthem performances. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce several aspects of guitar playing and music theory and see which foundational techniques need to be worked on based on each student. After basic fundamentals are acquired by the student, I introduce music theory and how it can be used.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played guitar my entire life! I currently teach at grace fellowship church and have several private students outside of the church. I've played numerous times at the AT&T center for concourse perfeormances, halftime shows, and national anthems. I've also played in several bands over the years.
