I am a certified Texas Public and Private school teacher. My approach is to create a blend of a standard curriculum and what the student wants to learn. I like to include music theory along the way.

A typical lesson would be 40 minutes long. There would be time for left and right technique, time to play through songs, learn chords, learn music theory.
