About
I have a degree in music education and have been giving private piano lessons since 1985. I enjoy giving private piano lessons and I have a great amount of patience. I teach students beginning at age 5 through adults. Students will need a piano to practice at home and need to commit to practice time between lessons. I teach how to read and play piano music, music theory and the style of music desired by the student.
I am passionate about teaching with a great deal of patience. People learn at own pace with varying talents and backgrounds. In addition to learning to read music notation I include rote learning and ear training in lessons.
