My two passions in life is music and fitness. I play piano daily and enjoy all types of music. I think it's important to "have an ear for music, however I also feel that learning to read music is important for all musicians. It is very rewarding to see students of all ages progress and discover that music really is for everyone. Let's unlock the mystery of music together. With my 50 years experience and you're eagerness to learn you'll be playing well, in just a few months.
Excellent. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained everything very well. Worth the price.
My approach to teaching has always been to put the students needs first. On lesson one I will assess any skill you already have and how we can building on this. If you have no skills yet, that's okay too. We will start with learning all the keys, notes, and chords, take homework with you so the next week will progress to the next step. You've be surprised how many people think they have no ear for music when they really do, with the right teacher.

It depends on how long the sessions are. One hour, at my home studio will cost about $40 and 30 minutes will cost about $25. Of course if I travel to you this price will increase depending on how far I have to travel. I live near Woodlawn Lake.
I started playing 50 years ago, when I was 11 year old. We were poor so the cost of lessons was an issue. I learned on my own and progress playing by ear for server years. When I got into college in the 80's I decided to pursue my passion in music. Over the past 50 years I've played in bands, taugh choir and bands and I've many young and older students. I actually got started teaching while I was in college to support family while finishing my degree in music.
All ages, adults and children, churches, music stores, in homes, and in my home.
Always look for a music teacher who has an "ear" for playing music addition to a degree.
Always look for a personal trainer who has an accredited certification for NAAC approved school.
