Learn to play guitar by ear. My goal as a teacher is to give you everything you need to go from knowing nothing or very little about guitar to becoming a skillful guitar player. Primarily, I will be teaching you to play by ear, but many aspects of music theory will be used as well so that you can know how to play something well and why it sounds good. My method of guitar teaching will allow you to expand your skills far past the songs you learn in your lessons. I have been playing music since I was around 8 years old and I have been playing guitar for around four years. I also play piano, drums, bass, electric guitar, ukulele, and I sing. I believe that my musical experience will serve you well as you grow in your guitar playing ability.
