About
During a session with me your athlete will not only benefit from improving their physical ability to perform, but I will also help them discover tips and tricks to unlock their ability to think like an elite hitter. Baseball is a 90% mental sport and I’m in the business of creating mental warriors.
My favorite part about what I do is watching the confidence build in my young hitters. My job is more important than just preparing athletes for a game. My maine objective is to create productive, discipline, and educated young men in our society.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically during my first session with a new athlete I like to observe more than I like to instruct. It's important to me that my new athletes feel comfortable with their environment, comprehend the information given during sessions, and remember it for the next session. Younger athletes tend to get easily overwhelmed with an overload of information during the first go around. I like to thoroughly observe the athlete's approach at the plate to surgically pinpoint the root cause of any troubled swing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In baseball hitters are much like fingerprints. There are hitters that are very similar to each other but no two swings are ever the same. My official title is "Baseball Psychologist". During my baseball career at Marymount California University I studied psychology with the intentions of applying my studies to my coaching career. During a session with me your athlete will not only benefit from improving their physical ability to perform, but I will help them discover tips and tricks to help them think like an elite hitter. What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all levels of talent from first year beginners to college/professional level players. One thing I ask of all of my players is that they give me their 100% effort during the short amount of time we spend together. For the best results, I also highly encourage my athletes to apply the information learned during our session to their own self-practice at home.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My biggest piece of advice on hiring an unknown coach is to make sure you pick someone who has lived the life you are training for. There are many "YouTube coaches" out there that claim they have a lot of knowledge of the area you'd like to study. There's a big difference between knowledge and experience. There's also a huge difference between knowledge and wisdom. Find a coach like myself or another that has played at the higher level and understands what it takes to succeed amongst elite competition.
