Kelsy is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor who has undergone over 500 hours of yoga teacher training. She studied both in Seattle, WA and at an ashram in Rishikesh, India. She has also taken many continuing education courses such as trauma-informed yoga teacher training through Yoga Behind Bars, workshops through Yoga International and more.

Having taught hundreds of classes at gyms, studios, homes, online, in businesses and residential communities, Kelsy is a well-rounded instructor capable of teaching all levels of yoga practitioners.

Kelsy’s passion for yoga continues to grow as she observes the transformations experienced by herself, her students and other regular yoga practitioners. One of the most gratifying experiences she’s had as a yoga instructor has been as a volunteer for the inmates at the prison in Monroe, WA. The amount of physical, mental and spiritual gains the inmates have seen with frequent practice were astounding! Kelsy volunteered for Yoga Behind Bars, teaching a 2 hour course at the Monroe Correctional Facility, 2 to 3 times a month.
