I do a thorough assessment/interview with all new clients to find out the best approach and modalities to help the individual reach their fitness goals. The four pillars of exercise 1) strength 2) flexibility 3) cardio 4) balance are addressed and focused on throughout the program.
Our bodies are meant to move, enjoy life and be healthy. Helping people reach and realize the bodies vast potential is a truly rewarding journey for client and trainer! :)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Free initial consultation to fill out paperwork, discuss goals, exercise history and preexisting conditions/injuries.

Bachelor's degree in Sport Management (1993)
Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA) since 1996
200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (2007)
CPR and First Aid certified
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Individual training: $85/hr, $70/45min, $55/30min
Group training (2): $60/person/hr, $35/person/30min
Group training (3): $40/person/hr, $25/person/30min
How did you get started teaching?
NCAA Division III college athlete (soccer, track) at University of Mount Union (OH). Coached for a few years after graduation and then transitioned to personal training.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all walks of life in my 20+ years in the health and fitness industry. Competitive athletes to people just beginning to move their bodies...everyone is welcome at Balanced Personal Fitness!
