I've been involved with the Sport of Boxing since 1966, at the age of 8 years old I had my first amateur fight in Hawaii. My father (also an Amateur & Professional Boxer) recognized that I was being bullied at school, and decided to teach me how to defend myself properly. I competed as an Amateur Boxer for 18 years - fighting on the Army Boxing Team (1979 - 1982). I was a Sparring Partner for Professional Karte Association World Middle-Weight Champion Bob "Thunder" Thurman form 1982 - 1990.
