The first thing i do is see how much the student knows. Then i show them some of the things i know. After that i customize lessons for the student. I teach them chords and simple rhythms.
35 years performing in front of audiences In the usa and several other countries.
I travel to my students. I charge 50.00 for a hour lesson. This price helps to cover my gas.
After playing a few years i was approached by different people asking if i could give them lessons.

Make sure the teacher is passionate at what they do. It takes work and a lot of practice to learn how to play the guitar. It also takes much patience. The teacher must have tons of patience. If he or she doesnt have patience then they wont be good at teaching. I love teaching and i am very good at it.
Will they be able to perform in front of people in the near future if thats what they want to do.
What exactly do the students want to accomplish by playing guitar.
