About this pro

My goal as an instructor is to create an exceptional mind-body experience that focuses on proper alignment, smooth transitions, a mix of heating dynamic and static postures, with a touch of philosophy to teach the practitioner how to take what is learned on the mat and utilize it in everyday life.

Yoga helped me move past the debilitating effects of anxiety, OCD, phobias, panic disorder, ADHD, and more. I’ve found inner peace and although I am still human and experience negative emotions from time to time, I am a very different person than I was ten years ago. I want to help others find their inner peace too.

Let’s connect and do yoga together.

Helping others feel better emotionally and physically is such a blessing. I am truly honored and grateful to have the opportunity to share this amazing practice with others.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When I meet with a new potential client, the first thing I like to address (after our initial introduction) is any physical injuries or medical conditions he or she might have. It is of utmost importance that I provide a safe and enjoyable experience for my students.

Next, I have a conversation with the new student about his or her previous experience with yoga and why they are interested in the practice. This helps me to discover how best I can assist them as a yoga practitioner.

Finally, I work with the client to establish clear boundaries and guidelines (cancellation policy, is the student comfortable with hands-on adjustments, how many days per week and for how long will we meet, etc.) for our training.

If there is time left, I will guide the student through a short practice, such as a few restorative poses or a variation of one of the sun salutations, depending on the time of day, the level of the student, and his or her goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a 500-hour certified yoga teacher: I received my 200-hour teacher training certification from YogaWorks under the instruction of David Lynch and Joe Kara in June 2017. I then completed the 300-hour program (also at YogaWorks) under the instruction of several YogaWorks senior teacher trainers and my mentor, Gigi Snyder.

I also hold a Master of Science from Rosalind University of Medicine and Science in Nutrition.
