Miguel Guitar Lessons

I always ask if there is any musical experience, if so how much. This is important to better suit the lessons according to where they stand. If there is no experience, I start with introducing easy cords for beginningers in order to get them excited about playing. 

I hold an Associates of Arts degree in music studies, a Bachlor's of Arts degree in classical guitar studies and a Master's of Music degree in classical guitar performance. I have over 4 years teaching experience with students ranging from 7 years old to adult. I believe that as a teacher it is our job to find the best way that each student learns and form our lessons around that. 

I offer single lessons and package lessons at a discontinued rate.

Single lessons:

$40 for 30 min. 

$60 for 45 min.

$80 for 60 min.

Package lessons:

4 lessons                8 lessons                12 lessons

$140 for 30 min.     $300 for 30 min.     $450 for 30 min.

I started teaching while in college as a way to gain experience.

I have worked with students of all ages, ranging from 7 years to adult.

I was approached by a student that wanted to audition to the music of their local college and only had four months to prepare. I came up with a teaching strategy to work with them and four months later they were accepted into the music program.

Be passionate about playing and make sure to dedicate time to it.
