Want to study with a Professor at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a graduate of Juilliard? That's me! I am a Professor of Orchestration, Music Theory, and Musicianship at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a Composer of original instrumenta music and song writer/guitarist/vocalist for SF rock band The Blind Bandits. I can teach a wide range of styles and musical skills from performance lessons, to music theory, ear training, composition, and arranging. I have been called a "swiss army knife" of teaching by the Dean at SFCM and my student testimonials praise not just my ability to help them progress at what they love, but also how my inspiration as a music lover drives them to pursue the art and inspires their love of music as well. I look forward to hepling you further your skills and deepen your apprieciation of the musical craft.
I love inspiring musicans to want to learn more. My goal is to teach them the necessary skills to teach themselves well so that they find joy in the instruments and the music in between our lesson times.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk to the student and find out what their goals are. Once I know that and I assessd their experience I will have a strong idea on how to move forward to help the student achieve their goals.
