About
My teaching method is patient and encouraging. This is combined with thouroghness in learning Theory, Technique, Note spelling and ability to play musical pieces. If a student who wants to sing we can do that as well. For anyone who wants to perform, Recital preparation is available. My great joy is to see each student accomplish each goal.
Connecting with each student in a way that I am able to help them not only to learn to play their chosen instrument, but to help them overcome any physical or mental obstacle.
I have been teaching Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Clarinet, Saxophone, and Trumpet 18 years.. I am a Concert Band Director.
My education is in formal music courses and private lessons in the University. I earned a Bachelor's degree at Antioch University.
Too, I have been playing professionally for 30 years.
