About this pro

As a certified RYT-200 yoga instructor, my specialty is in restorative yoga.  This form of yoga practice caters specifically to individuals with physical limitations due to lingering injuries restricting movement or as a result from mental ailments, such as stress, etc.  I believe that our bodies speak to us and if we listen carefully we can cure most ailments, simply with a combination of breath, stillness, and movement.

I enjoy seeing others succeed.  It's an amazing feeling knowing that I am able to help others by simply teaching them how to move using their own strength and flexibility.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

New students will be contacted via email and sent a questionnaire to fill out regarding personal practice history, goals, etc.  If necessary, a phone interview will be conducted in order to make sure students needs will be met from Day One.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

RYT-200 certified through Yoga Alliance.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing varies upon students needs.

How did you get started teaching?

I fell in love with yoga several years ago and wanted to find a way to help others fall in love with the practice as much as I have.

What types of students have you worked with?

My experiences, in particular, have been working with students who suffer from chronic aches and pains due to physical limitations, specifically low back pain, joint stiffness, etc.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Each day holds a special place in my heart because I know that my passion towards helping others has transformed into my purpose.  I am priviledged to help others find their bodies again and learn how to improve their lives, just simply through movement.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Take time to connect with your potential teacher and make sure that they are able to customize and create a unique program especially for your needs.  Don't be afraid to ask questions and allow yourself to be open.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is my intention?

What are my strengths?

What are my limitations?
