My name is Josh, and I teach all levels of guitar from beginning to advanced and everywhere in between. I teach everything from the very basics to theory to how use equipment and how to record. I have a great home studio in San Pedro where we can record and review your sessions or I can come to you. Remote lessons also available.

I've been playing guitar for 30+ years and have been teaching for more than half that time, including at Berkeley's School of Jazz. I've been in several bands and have been playing live and in studio for years. Rock is my sweet spot, but I'm comfortable teaching and playing all styles of guitar. My rates are competitive.
