My background is in Music Theater. I’ve traveled the country with multiple Broadway shows.
I truly believe that a Music Theater technique is the most healthy and sustainable way to protect the voice.
In our lessons, we will work towards music YOU want to learn. We will tackle aural skills and basic music theory.
Overall, we will have FUN exploring the voice and gaining confidence in your instrument.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always want to meet my students where they are on their musical journey. We will take a few minutes to get to know each other and ask questions pertaining to their music goals. Then, we will get right to singing or playing. I want to utilize our time together singing, playing, doing, not chatting or watching videos.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Oklahoma City University and studied under Florence Birdwell. I spent many years traveling the country with Broadway National Tours.
I've been a singer/songwriter and performer for the last 10 years. I've toured across the country more times than I can count playing shows and singing at various venues.

Travel fees are added for coming to your home. Travel fees vary by distance.

I started teaching after years and years of people asking me if I could teach them.
