What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by seeng what they want to accomplish in their studies then weave in my method for developing musicianship skills to materials that the student brings and wants to engage in.

My students either pay in 4 week increments or 3 months at a time.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved teaching and started off with my first guitar student in my high school. When I went to conservatory I began teaching at the Kanack School of Music in Rochester, NY. Following I taught at the Gunma Kokusai Academy in Ota, Gunma, Japan. I Then founded Confidentchords.com and began teaching stundents around the world!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Having a degree in education is something many freelance teachers do not offer, and the amount you can learn as well as the quality of lesson.
