I have over 30 years of playing and perfroming. I have a vast knowledge of both classical and flamenco styles as well as Latin, Afrocubana, Reggea, rock, among other styles. Some of my mentors and teachers include Larry Ferrara and Marc Teicholtz (from San francisco Conservatory of music) Candido Morales ( Agustin Barrios Mangore direct student) Angel Romero (Master class)Gopal Slavonic( Bay area Flamenco teacher).
I enjoy seeing breakthrough in my students performance and technique from day one. I am very passionate as well as patient when teaching my lessons . I make my lessons fun, practical and relevant to my students' needs and skills. I emphasized the importance of techniques in both hand from day one and i start apllying those techniques while student learn their favorite tunes or songs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to know first of all my students skills or weaknesses on the instrument and or music theory and I like to ask what the student wants to accomplish on a certain amount of time of practice and or lessons. From there I tailor the lesson knowing my students' needs and goals and their levels of skills and knowledge.
