About this pro

Imagine how incredible it would be to play and sing the music you love, write your own songs and perform with other musicians? Guitar, voice, bass and ukulele are exciting and versatile instruments that inspire you to express your unique creative abilities. Whether you’re a new player or looking to expand your musical horizons, James has the patience and expertise to guide you to a level of personal satisfaction and beyond. Coaching Objectives: Insure that you play/sing better – sooner! Encourage exploration of the music you love. Focus on optimum techniques for performing various styles. Clarify music theory as it applies to reading and improvisation. Enhance confidence by performing live in concert.

I truely enjoy assisting new artists through every phase of their musical development. Be it writing, arranging, recording or performing. Hearing improvement is very rewarding, not only for myself but the listeners and artists as well.

“It might have been done before, but it hasn’t been done by you!”

James is very knowledgeable about guitar and the recording arts. If you ever need advice on buying a guitar or music gear, then James is the guy to ask. James makes learning guitar fun and engaging. I always have more fun learning guitar with James than I do practicing at home. I always feel inspired after I finish guitar lessons with James. He is also very flexible in accommodating your schedule. You can also ask him questions regarding recording and producing music because he has experience in that area of expertise as well.

James is best possible resource for me as a 71 yr old male with a bucket list item to become proficient in guitar. His knowledge base is extensive, & his teaching technique to move me quickly toward playing songs is perfect for my needs.
