Andrew is an excellent teacher, who uses intuition to understand the students strengths and weaknesses. He develops a way to build on the strengths and augment the weaknesses of the student. Chords, scales, major or minor, dyads, triads and are revealed in a context that make sense.
The seven Greek modes and how they relate to the major and minor modes and the panatonic stale and what the sound like are revealed as needed in a context that makes sense, musically. In summary , Andrew is much like a good pilot instructor, that shows you how to fly a plane, make mistakes and then correct them. Outstanding teacher ... from a Professor of Physics.
