One of the greatest joys is to see a student learn and grow in their quest to learn an insrtument or voice. The student will learn theory, history,notes explore different genres of music .
I have been teaching in the Denver area since 1990. I have a degree in Piano Performance and have been a performer. and I have directed many musicals. I also hold a State of Colorado Teaching Liscense.
My students have gone on to music schools, my choir has sung for the last 4 years at the Denver Nuggests games.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When a new students contacts us we have a phone interview or Skype. Discuss goals, scheduling, cost. If the student is looking for lessons or preparing for auditions/competitions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Piano Performance degree.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching because I want to share my knowledge of music.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My production of Cinderella. The middle school performers were so enthusiastic and did a fantastic job with the acting, choreography and acting.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a teacher make sure of the method they are using, make clear what you are looking for and be open to the teachers recommendations. Let the teacher know what other activites you do.
