Hi there! My name is Matt, and I am excited to teach you how to play music. I have been playing music for a little over 20 years and I play drums, guitar, and bass guitar. I am extremely passionate about playing music and I come from a rhythm first methodology. This means that I will teach you about the core concepts of rhythm first before we get into playing chords or melodies. I believe that rhythm is the single most important aspect of playing and mastering music. It doesn’t matter what style you are hoping to learn, rhythm is important for all of my students to master first. I’m excited to begin inspiring you!
