I like to get students started playin and understanding the guitar in a practical easy to relate to way.
i like to start out students with songs that they can relate to and the songs that they would like to learn and play
then I teach them how to improvise
solos and scales around these songs

I first ask questions to find out what they are intersed in and I like to get them playing songs right away

I am self taught and I play buy ear I've been playing for over 30 years
