Zoom Lessons Available!!  My teaching approach: I am a professional performing artist. Writing and performing music is living a dream for me. I teach beginners and expereinced players, children and adults.

If you have any interest in learning or excelling at guitar, performing or song writing please do give a call. I make learning fun. We can learn theory, or not, depending on the way you learn. My main goal is to make music more accessible and fun for you and for you to be able to speak the language of music.

My guitar lessons take place in:  Either via Zoom, or in my studio in North East Boulder. Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Guidance In Equipment Selection

I absolutely Love the work I do. I have had so much success teaching beginners as small as 6 years old all the way to savy players in their 70's. I love making you better at guitar and all that comes with it!! Vist me here:

January, 2016 Thomas has really helped me progress with my guitar playing over the last few months. I have learned so much about picking and strumming while having a blast at the same time! My confidence levels have increased ten-fold, and I am excited every time I pick up the guitar. Thomas is a wonderful instructor who cares deeply about each of his students. I recommend him highly! March 2016 "I had wanted to write songs for many years. As a moderate acoustic guitarist, it all seemed way above my pay grade. Through Thomas' gentle way of teaching, it actually was much easier, much more accessible than I thought! To date, I have written two songs and I am on my way to writing some more. Next Thomas is working with me on the courage to perform those songs!!" Longmont, Colorado

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Starts with a phone call to see where you, or your child are at and where you, or your child want to get to. Then we pick a time for a first lesson to see how we work together.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been playing guitar for over 35 years. I have performed and taught for the last 15 years. I have performed well over a 100 shows, all over the front range including such clubs as Hermans Hideaway and Nissis. I have been a house musician and a regular guest musician at a variety of establishments. I have also sold three songs that I wrote. See testimonials on website.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$45 for 45 minutes.

How did you get started teaching?

I enjoyed playing and performing so much that I wanted to share the joy. My Fatehr was a professor and my Mother a teacher as well.

What types of students have you worked with?

All. From little children to retired adults. From beginners to performing artsts.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My first gig back since the lockdown brought me such great joy. I missed performing!!!!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

It's all about chemistry. Find a teacher that inspires you and makes you happy.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Where do I want to get to and who can get me there?
