I would recommend looking for a teacher that teaches you what you want to learn while providing you with a system that allows you to progress quickly & efficiently.
I feel the connection you make with the teacher is most important as this is what makes learning guitar fun & enjoyable for years to come.
Look for a teacher that is willing to go the extra mile to get you where you want to go in the most proficient manner possible while guiding you on the right path to make learning guitar an enjoyable experience.
I think students should think about their guitar goals!
Why do they want to learn guitar?
Who inspires them to want to learn?
What are they hoping to accomplish?
How much time & effort are they willing to invest?
