Moon Magnet Music School coaches students of all levels and ages, offering lessons in piano, guitar, voice, music production, mixing, mastering, music business & marketing, songwriting, ukulele, and more. Lessons are offered online and in person. Students learn to play new instruments, refine their skills, and finish their songs. The Release Your Music in 90 Days Masterclass teaches students how to self-publish, release their own music, and create marketing strategies for their projects, while sending out resources every week to help them along the way. Whether you are starting a new instrument or mastering a full album, our experienced music professionals are here to help you grow as a musical artist.

I’m beyond satisfied with the service, music expertise and professionalism throughout my journey of song writing. Alec was able to work with me in a way that made song writing achievable. I’ve tried numerous times on my own to create a song - but not until I worked with Alec and Reed was I able to successfully created my very first song! It was worth every penny. It means so much that Reed and Alec follow up, check in, and give great feedback to take my song writing to the next level. Not only have they given me sound advice (pun intended) they have provided amazing resources to help navigate my music goals, and putting my music out there to share.

I have been taking lessons with reed for about 2 months and can say, I have learned a lot about music production/ DJ specifically with a EDM and dubstep music. Reed has pushed, and motivated me to produce more music and has taught me how to produce with samples as well as making our own sounds in serum. Overall I have learned a lot about the EDM music world thanks to Reed.

When relocating to the area, I wanted to find a professional for my child to combine electronic music production & piano lessons. My son first worked with another music school for over a year, but didnt find the lessons as engaging. Through Moon Magnet, we were directed to the best instructor for my students interests. He is now 12 and has been working with Joia for nearly 2 years for private instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin by asking for info about the student, if they’ve played before, and what their preferences are. Then we ask for the student’s location and availability. This allows us to match the student with a suitable instructor. We will then schedule a free introductory lesson to assess the student's interests, goals, and skill level. Lessons are scheduled based on the availability of both the student and the teacher, ensuring a flexible and convenient arrangement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced musicians. Most of them have degrees in music education or performance or are currently pursuing a degree. They are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students achieve their musical goals. Our hiring process is thorough, including reference checks, background checks, and ensuring that our teachers are insured.

Tuition fees at Moon Magnet Music School vary depending on the length of the lessons. We offer a per-lesson billing rate rather than a monthly billing rate, providing flexibility without the need for monthly contracts. Additionally, we offer a free introductory lesson to help students determine if the assigned teacher is the right fit.
