HI, I’M DUNCAN CAMERON.
Maybe you want to learn guitar for the first time. Maybe you played as a teen and then, “grew up". Whatever the case I want to help you realize your goals.
I have been a performer and teacher for the last 30 years. As a performer I have released 6 albums, played on many more, and opened for the likes of James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, Fishbone, G-Love & Special Sauce and numerous others. As a teacher I have taught privately and at the same performing arts high school that I attended. My goal is to provide a strong musical foundation for students and use their interests and goals as the guiding light for our lessons.

Taking lessons with Duncan has been great, he is a very experienced and knowledgeable musician. My second lesson today reflects that I’m self taught and lacking true skill sets. I hadn’t picked up my guitar in 20 yrs. At 69, I’m excited to start this journey with Duncan. He provides encouragement, and so much patience, which makes me feel at ease . Clearly he has a heart to share his knowledge and watch his students succeed.

I truly enjoyed working with Duncan and he was able to give me many tips and tricks during our lessons. He understands the rush to start playing songs but first helped me work on my initial technique to better my skills in the long run. Only one session in and I can tell Mr. Duncan is a great music instructor. With his pace and calm demeanor, I could not have asked for a better instructor. He gave me the encouraging feeling that I could be a great guitar player tomorrow. I still have a long ways to go but I am definitely looking forward to our next session.
