Beginner instruction as well as advanced instruction where songs, improvisation, music theory, transcription and reading is taught. The mix of topics is tuned to the interest of the student.
For electric players, getting the most out of your gear and pedal boards is covered.
Lessons are taught in Pro Tools and Ableton recording facilities with large instrument collection (9' piano) which is perfect for instrument lessons and audio engineering instruction. Producing and horn/string/vocal arranging is also taught when applicable.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
One on One.....evaluated what the student knows and wants to learn. Chords, songs, guitar solos, theory etc. Determine the learning style of the student. For example, some students want to learn what they hear on the record and some want the theory to create their own thing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have done a lot a teaching and celebrity backup. For example, played guitar with Sam The Sham, The Platters, The Shirells, Shangri Las, Drifters, Franky Ford, Chuck Jackson. Extensive experience in arranging vocals, horns, strings and studio producing in general.
