Piano & Guitar Institute has been offering quality piano & guitar instruction to Fort Collins and surrounding areas since 2001. There are currently several hundred students with a qualified staff to meet all of their needs. While each student is paired with a single teacher, all teachers provide instruction following the same methodology, beliefs, and terminology. This allows Piano Institute to have a team approach in providing individualized instruction for each student.

Piano & Guitar Institute provides a fun and professional environment for students to learn to read music and play their instrument.
The Institute has numerous individual studios as well as group performing areas. The performance classroom contains two grand pianos which allows for many performances throughout the year.
Piano & Guitar Institute also has a music store on site for clients' convenience. This allows students to have quick access to a variety of fun supplemental materials.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We ask that all new families come in for a brief NO obligation orientation. This is to meet the staff and see the school. It give new families a much better idea of who we are and if Piano & Guitar Institute will be a good fit for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every teacher on staff has a degree in either education or music or some combination therein. Some us us have greaduate degrees, in everything from film music to music theory.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is based on 47 lessons per calendar year. We charge a flat monthly tuition of $106 for school age students and adults, and $95 per month for preschoolers.
How did you get started teaching?
It helped get me extra money as a kid, then on into college. Once I Graduated college I wanted to start my own music school, and now Piano & Guitar Institute exixts.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. We have a class for toddlers which is a mommy and me class. We teach private lessons starting at age 3. We have many adults enrolled. We have sent quite a few students on to college to be music majors. We teach all styles of music from Classical to Jazz, Metal, Pop-Rock, Blues, and everything in between.
