About this pro

My teaching approach: Noel Hernandez is a classically trained guitarist who wrote his first orchestra at the age of 17 and was performing at Boettcher Hall by the age of 18. He has been independently teaching guitar since 1994, and also taught for Denver Public Schools for 7 years. Noel plays in four rock bands and has been featured twice in the Rocky Mountain News and has been on KBCO, KBPI, and The Mountain. My guitar lessons take place in: In the teacher's studio Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: Rockley Music in LakeWood Colorado 1901 Kipling st. Lakewood Colorado. Guitar Techniques: Guidance In Equipment Selection, Recordirng and Production, Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance, Vocal Accompaniment, Slide Guitar, Fingerstyle, Open tuning, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar, drums, bass, piano, voice, uke, mandolin, aux percussion, and ear training.

I love sharing music with every one and hope that I can help every student find a way to have a great time learning it through the songs they love. Just bring in an MP3 of any song you want to learn and I will writ it down, teach it to you, give you exercises to develop the skills needed to do the material and show me ou how it fits into the music theory to better help you understand how it may be similar to other songs you may want to play.

I have been a student of Noel's for ten years now. You might ask how is that possible. Because he knows so many instruments and makes every learning experience fun.
