What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Grace Yoga does offer private yoga classes however most students are comfortable joining the group classes right from the very beginning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nicole Murphy is the main yoga teacher at Grace yoga she is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and is also a level 3 Rossiter coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All the class options and pricing are on the website. Check there often as classes are changing all the time and we constantly bring in new teachers to teach workshops that would be interesting to everyone.
What types of students have you worked with?
Many of the students at Grace Yoga are mature adults but all ages are welcome and there are men and women in all classes.
Grace Yoga specializes in teaching beginners; however advanced students will still find that the classes are challenging and fun.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try different styles of yoga as well as different teachers because a teacher-student relationship is a relationship just like any other. If you find that you're not clicking with a certain teacher then keep looking.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If you do have specific worries or concerns it's always a good idea to bring those up to the teacher. You should never feel like you need to hide anything, you should feel like communication is always open.
