Josh Maxey Guitar Lessons

Josh Maxey has been playing and teaching music professionally since 2003. In spring of 2011, while living in New York City, he began a series of album recordings featuring some of the best musicians in the city. There have been 9 album releases in less than 3 years. The original music is improvisational, in the jazz lineage with a heavy emphasis on blues. The series has been been downloaded over 25k times, played on the radio and favorably reviewed.

In Josh's 15 years in NYC he was fortunate to learn from, play with, and be around many masters of music. He is always happy to talk with people about music and help them find their next steps on the instrument.
