School Of Rock Broomfield
About
School of Rock is music lessons done a little differently! We teach private piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, vocals, and drum lessons, and we also offer multiple opportunities for students of all ages to play together in a band setting. We find that when students play with others they are more motivated and inspired to develop and commit to their music. We have so much fun here, you really have to experience School of Rock to appreciate what we have to offer!
We are changing kids' lives by providing a safe, fun, creative musical environment where our students can feel part of a larger community. We not only provide a solid music education, we teach kids life skills like teamwork and confidence, and we all have lots of fun along the way!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We work with all ages and abilities, so we meet each new student wherever you are in your musical path.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff of professional musicians come from a variety of backgrounds and educations. Your instructor coud be a touring rock musician, or may hold a masters degree in music education, or could even be a self-taught musician who gigs around town and has a unique talent for inspiring young musicians. The common theme is that all our instructors posess a deep passion for music and teaching and love what they do!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on what type of program you join. We offer a "lessons only" program where you come for a weekly 45-minute private lesson, but what really makes School of Rock amazing is our group classes that get kids playing in a band situation even in the early stages of their music education. We offer group classes for ages 5 - 17 - give us a call to discuss the possibilities!
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with kids from roughly age 7-17, and offer adult lessons as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our House Band played at Red Rocks the past few summers!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you're looking for traditional lessons where you only practice on your own and might perform 1 or 2 recitals per year, this probably isn't the place for you.
If you want to learn solid music foundations while playing songs you love, if you want cool performance opportunities, and if you are looking for a community of inspiring musicians who love what they do, please give us a call!
