Helping people discover and develop their musical gifts
I’ve been Mr. Dunkin’s student and colleague and I’ve always been impressed with his passion for helping others learn music and musical instruments. He is a kind teacher and uses his expertise to help students grow as musicians. He also has a great sense of humor. If you are looking to learn how to play an instrument I highly encourage you to learn from Mr. Dunkin
Mr. Dunkin is very patient and a great teacher. My daughter has learned so much and truly enjoys learning how to play her flute.
I ask them about their musical interests and experience. I give them a little summary of my own history, throwing in some humor to break the ice. Then I start getting them acquainted with the instrument and the basics of posture and notation.
Bachelor of Music, instrumental emphasis.
