Aja Yoga Flow

About

Private sessions with me, whether for an individual or group, are tailored specifically to each client’s needs, and are scheduled at the client’s convenience, with my full and undivided attention. I’ve been teaching private and group classes for 4 years. I’m certified in several healing modalities which include Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, and yoga for special needs. I’m a certified meditation guide specializing in Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation. I’m a certified Level 3 Reiki Master. I’m passionate about introducing people to these healing arts and witnessing the transformation that occurs. My private work has included those desiring to develop a yoga and/or meditation practice to those with more specific needs such as traumatic brain injury, restless leg syndrome, tinnitus, osteoporosis, arthritis, and back issues to list but a few.

I love witnessing the transformation that occurs when people tap into their authentic selves, recognizing what THEY CAN DO and the empowerment and peace that happens within that transformation.

I first met Amy at Goldenpath Yoga, at a yin yoga class, and loved her style of teaching immediately. Whether the practice is yin, restorative, hatha .... she is just awesome - calm, gentle, professional, knowledgeable, inspiring ❤️

Can not say enough great things about Amy. She introduced me to yin and Hatha practice two years ago and completely changed my life. She has taught me that taking things slow and practicing patience with myself on the mat makes all the difference in how I handle everyday life. Amy is knowledgeable, helpful and thorough; she is so friendly, warm, and funny. She is my guide, friend and biggest supporter. Her classes are simply fantastic.

Frequently asked questions

My process per session will vary depending on if hired as a one-time occurance or several sessions. If hired as a one-time occurance I gather as much information as possible via text, phone, or email to come ready and prepared to offer the client(s) what they need and are expecting at the time of service. If hired for several sessions, preliminary information is gathered prior to initial date of service followed by a thorough, confidential intake at initial service to best evaluate the client’s needs and to begin an appropriate program and course of action. Waivers are offered for reading and signing. A copy is left with the client. All sessions, unless otherwise discussed and agreed, to are 60 minutes in length.

My yoga certifications include Hatha, Yin, Children, and Special Needs. I’m a Yoga Nidra certified meditation guide and Level 3 certified Reiki Master.

My standard pricing per session is $85 per 60 minute session with package incentives offered.

I began teaching through a profound desire to offer people the same healing, grounding, balance, and peace I’d found through these healing practices of yoga, meditation, and reiki.

I’ve worked with a variety of people ranging from those wishing to create a healthy lifestyle to those addressing very specific physical and emotional needs ranging from traumatic brain injury, knee and back issues, to grief and loss and many concerns in between.

An event I’m most recently fond of was working with a group of traumatic brain injury survivors and the joy and feeling of empowerment that they each felt upon discovering that yes, they can practice yoga and meditation.

The advice I would offer to a student looking for a teacher is to not fixate on price and to find one that really clicks with you. There’s a teacher for every student and a student for every teacher so don’t feel as though you need to settle.

I would suggest that students really assess what they’re looking for. One session is helpful to see if you and an instructor are a good fit or if a student is looking to hire someone for an event but to really see and bring about change multiple sessions are the most helpful and successful path.
