Mark really helped me to feel much more comfortable. I learned a few different techniques and exercises to help me act the best I can. I have no prior experience, Mark is patient, encouraging, and creates ways to help me better understand!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Marc on multiple occasions, and he’s been a great director every single time. Because his guidance and acting exercises are hands-on, I’ve always felt very connected to the cast and my work after every rehearsal. He is always open to suggestions/changes which makes the rehearsal process more of a group effort rather than him being the absolute leader of the pack. Marc is passionate about creating great work knowing that it stems from having a great relationship with his peers, and it shows. I would definitely recommend taking his class!

Marc is an excellent director. He is patient, passionate, and has a creative approach to bringing out the best in his collaborators. There lies within him an inherent wisdom far beyond his years that makes it especially easy to trust in him. It was an honor and a great joy to learn from this man. With Marc, you are always in good hands.

Marcus takes the time to understand his students, how each one of them processes things differently than the other, and changes his strategy of teaching to best fit each person so we can all progress and not feel like his teaching clicks for one person but not everyone. On the flip side of the coin where he is very patient with all of us in making sure we’re clear on what we need to do, he still manages to be efficient by not lingering too long on the same thing. If it looks like it’s stumping you, he may introduce something new to the equation or the thought process to spark the wheels turning and get you out of the rut. Marcus really does care and wants to help his students thrive. He is a super kind person and genuinely brings laughter and an amazing positive energy wherever he goes. I have no doubt that you all will see how much dedication, focus and joy he will bring to your program and I thank you so much for taking the time to read this review.
