My teaching approach: He has had a number of inspirations, teachers, private instructors, and pro musicians as influences as a youngster. Adam has played in various groups, playing styles ranging from rock, jazz, classical, blues and symphonic. He spent his time in Junior High and High School achieving top honors in band contests. Music has brought an extensive amount of joy, salvation, and opportunity to Adam's life. In turn, he is very much eager to pass that joy on to others through experience and education. My influences are: My mentors in classical guitar, jazz, and rock; and, especially, my school band directors, and my University Doctors and Professors. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-9pm Saturday: 10am-3pm Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerstyle, Performance, Improvisation, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: Demonstration of scales, chords, theory, sense of pitch; and build on what they have. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: Analysis of where the student is presently, and building/reshaping from there. Reviews from former lessons, and something new to take home. The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: My experience is mostly with children. I usually work wiht beginners, as well as people who know the basics on their instruments, and want to expand on what they've acquired. My usual students are eager to learn, and loof forward to playing, practicing, and learning.
