Lucky Silver Lessons
About
I have been playing, recording, and teaching professionally for over 40 years. I have been in numerous bands of all musical styles, playing numerous instruments. I customize lessons for each student depending on their strenghts, interests, and abilities. I play many stringed instruments such as banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, ukulele, and also keys and percussion.
I love helping people reach their potential in whatever it is they desire musically. It is very rewarding for me to see a student's progress, and am happy when they (or I) think they are ready to leave the nest and continue learning and playing on their own.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will ask their experience, other teachers and other instruments played, etc. Then I will ask them their goals in leaning an instrument, what type of music they like and would like to play. Then I will start with a program that I believe would work best for that individual student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music, orchestration, engineering, and the music business in several different colleges. I have also trained myself on several instruments and in the recording business beyond what I have learned academically.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For beginners, I generally charge $20. Prices may go up a bit with intermediate and advanced students depending on the situation. This price is if student comes to my location. I have a travel fee if I must come to the student, depending on the location. I rarely travel outside of the Perimeter (285) except for special cases.
