I was a personal trainer for 15 years, with a strong background in Group Exercise. All instructors affiliated with Heartspace are 200 hr. Yoga Alliance certified, insured and trained in CPR and AED. I have a total of 8 years teaching full time for Corepower Yoga both in Washington, DC and currently in Atlanta, GA. I now teach at Sacred Chill West

Jan is a fantastic instructor. With her background knowledge in personal training I feel stronger and understand my body more. She allows me to feel comfortable and calm as I practice yoga. Such a lovely instructor.
I typically give them a free first class so clients can decide if we are a good fit. There is no pressure to continue if they are not comfortable. Classes can be paid for on a drop in basis but receive a discount if they purchase a package of 10 classes. Clients are required to cancel a class 24 hrs. in advance with no charge. The same applies to Heartspace; if we cancel a class in less than 24 hrs. you receive a free class. Many reluctant to try yoga, thinking they need to be flexible. The practice is one that develops with time and consistency like any new activity.
