About
Some of the most powerful tools to total body health and relief from chronic pain and fatigue lie in yoga and meditation techniques. My teaching method is founded on the pursuit of confidence and stability in all structural movements while encouraging strength and balance throughout the body. I specialize in an individualized approach to yoga and meditation, personalizing my teachings to work with the needs of each student. Each session involves a tailored yogic experience that meets the student where they are within their flexibility, strength, and comfort in their practice.
My work is centered around helping others and I am so fortunate to have an occupation that allows me to introduce and reinforce powerful tools of wellness and mindfulness to those who most need it. The joy of my work comes from the confidence in mind, body and spirit that I observe in the progression of practice with each of my students. Each student I am able to work with becomes a part of my focus and I am overjoyed to see my focus support others!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When we begin our work together in your personalized yoga or meditation practice, we start by going over a worksheet that will better inform me of your goals, as well as the spaces in the body that might need extra or special attention.
After we have established our goals together, I will be able to put together a personalized practice informed by your individual needs. In each session we will build on this practice to curate the ideal postures and techniques to help you reach your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Movement, flexibility and strength building practices have been a part of my life for more than 25 years. With a full background in classical dance performance and competition, I came naturally to my career in yoga, mindful movement and meditation.
I completed my first official 200-HR yoga teacher training at the foremost institution in GA, Kashi Atlanta in 2014 and have been in private practice for the last 5+ years. Since completing my first 200-HR training in Classical Yoga, I followed up with an additional 200-HR training, this time with a Power/Hot Yoga focus. I have also completed several supplemental trainings and intend to continue my education at every opportunity.

My private practice rates begin at $75 per session with discounts applicable for booking multiple sessions in advance.

I specialize in Gentle Yoga & Meditation and I have a particular sensitivity and focus on making my yoga and meditation instruction accessible to people of all ages, sizes and abilities.
I enjoy working with children, families and those of mature age and body.
