Darcy Miller - Yogi & Life Coach
About
I personalize each yoga class based on the student's goals. Every day presents new challenges (and new successes!), and teaching to where the student is from day to day is essential. I am RYT200 and will be continuing my "formal" education until I am RYT800 Yoga Therapist.
I love the people! Sharing space with others who enjoy or are curious about yoga and wellness is my favorite thing to do!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Interview/consultation to determine goals, followed by an intro class. At that time, a regular schedule is put in place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
RYT200
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50/hour for 1-3 people class. Packages are available.
How did you get started teaching?
After my mom passed away, I felt a little lost. Somehow, some way, I came across an internship opportunity at a yoga studio. I feel as though I've been able to honor my mom as well as myself and I am forever grateful to the universe and my yoga community!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners, children, athletes and those with injuries such as knee surgeries and back problems.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
How do you feel during class? Do you feel empowered or intimidated? How do you feel after class? Relaxed? Refreshed? Embarassed? Awkward? Hire the teacher that teaches YOU and makes you feel empowered in your practice, at whatever stage you are in.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want to get out of class (spiritual, physical, mental, etc.)?
What are their goals (short term and long term)?
Speak up about concerns, issues, and preferences (such as hands-on adjustments, if you're open/closed to essential oils or meditation, etc.).
