At Shaolin Kempo Studios of Self Defense, we work with small groups. Focusing mainly on building skills and awareness, as well as pairing it with healthy life.
Principal area of attention is self defense, have been working on this area for over 20 years with great results, and many anecdotes of people who call just to thank because the skills acquired have proved life-savers.

We do teach for passion and helping our community
The Fee is mainly to keep the studio afloat:
$85 a month, with a 3 months special, and first uniform free.
How did you get started teaching?
After becoming black belt, I just follow the passion for it
willing to help others to learn self defense.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Definitely when looking to start training martial arts define what you want to get out of it

- Are you looking to learn to defend yourself and yours?
- Are you looking to look flashy and stylish even if the art wont help you on real cases?
Normally I would encourage people to learn self defense, as you get all the benefits from any other martial art and fitness program, plus confidence and the ability to handle difficult or dangerous situations.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
- Are you willing to participate in tournaments? (not needed with us as a mean to progress, but it is optional if you want to attend)
