Austin M. says, "I have always been an active person, and a person who enjoyed the gym. I use to come in to do my workouts going through the day to day, believing I knew about being healthy and getting in a “good” workout. I came to Snap Fitness in August of 2013. For the next year I did the same routines I had done my entire life, occasionally trying something new I had seen another guy doing. Over the period of a year I came to know one of the trainers, Brandon McCombs. Throughout that year I watched him with his clients and even talked to his past clients, before making the plunge and signing up for 24 sessions. When I finally made the commitment I was ecstatic, thinking I would handle myself pretty well and pick up a few tricks along the way. Little did I know Brandon’s vast knowledge would not only change my body, but my life in its entirety. I have recently finished my 24 sessions; it has been not only the greatest experience, but the greatest investment imaginable. I have learned so much in so many different areas of being healthy and living fit. From increasing my mobility, strength, and endurance, to being able to cook and eat better and understand why I am eating it, to finally being able to look in the mirror and be proud of what I see. Most people think women are the only ones who suffer from insecurities, however in this day and age with movies like “Magic Mike” and tabloids of shirtless celebrities it is hard for a guy to feel confident. Thanks to Brandon McCombs I am proud to look in the mirror, proud of the fact I have pushed myself harder in the gym than I ever have before, but mostly, I am honored and privileged to have been able to become a client of Brandon’s. I just signed up for 24 more sessions, and am stoked to watch my body transform even more and unleash my inner beast. To the person reading this, whether you are waiting for your first fitness assessment, or deciding whether to take the plunge as I did; remember that progress always begins where your comfort zone ends."
