Hi! My name is Rebecca and I love sharing yoga with others. I am honored to have taught all-levels and all ages. My teaching style is centered around listening to the body, honoring the heart, and tapping into the self, both on and off the mat. I completed my 200hr teacher training through YogaWorks at their teacher training facility in Santa Monica, CA and a 40hr Power Yoga teacher training with Bryan Kest of Bryan Kest Power Yoga. I am certified to teach MiniMe Yoga and love sharing yoga with children too:)

Rebecca was awesome! She is a great teacher and was very thorough in showing us the poses. I took this class with my daughters ages 9 and 10 and they absolutely loved it, we all did. We have set up classes with her on a weekly basis! I recommend her highly!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My typical process for working with a new student is getting to know the students. By learning about the student's goals and background, allows me customized the class to meet their needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have complete a 200hr teacher training with YogaWorks at their Santa Monica, CA teacher training facility and a 40hr teacher training with Brian Kest Power Yoga. I have completed a children's yoga teacher training program with MiniMe Yoga.

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a master's class with Kino MacGregor in Louisville, KY.

How did you get started teaching?

I have practiced yoga for over 14 years. My friend Ashley encouraged me to attend a teacher's training.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages and body types. Youngest is 4 and oldest is 82.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The Master's Class I recently attended lead by Kino MacGregor was amazing.

I am a big fan of all of the Soul Cleanse yoga events. The events are really fun and the people who attend are awesome! These are great yoga events!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure the yoga instructor really enjoys teaching yoga

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are your goals? Do you want to reduce stress, create calmness, become healthier, increase flexibility? Do you want to relax or get super sweaty? Or somewhere inbetween?
