What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what there interest is and customize the lessons from that point we will learn how to play songs , learn how to practice , music theory, read and write music. I will get you playing asap
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a guitar performance diploma from Mcnally School of Music St Paul MN i graduated in 1996 top of my class i have been playing in cover bands since 1993 i spent 2 years on the road touring and private guitar lessons

online only 20.00 for 30 mins, 40.00 for 60 mins
How did you get started teaching?
I have mostly been asked by people who have seen me play live ask me i have worked in a music store before and other services over the years but mostly from playing out and people seeing me play
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students from as young as 8-10 to retirment age and there interest in what thy want to lear can vary from rock to country to ear training to theory it is tailored to you interest
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have been playing some solo shows with just a acustic guitar and it has been a awsome experience it completly makes you think outside the box and get out of you comfort zone and grow as a musician
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone you can relate with as a person all the qualifacations in the world are great but if you dont connect on a friendly level its a little harder to relate sometimes
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just think about what you want to learn your musical interests will change as you grow so ask questions and soak it all in
