I believe my service should stand out to people who want an experienced teacher...... I have been teaching yoga and nothing else for 19 years. That speaks for itself.... when I look for a service from someone, I want them to know what they are doing, and be very experienced. I feel so lucky to have been well trained (mostly in NYC) in proper alignment, how to practice safely, and from people who view yoga as an ancient spiritual tradtion.
I get to see people literally TRANSFORM before my eyes, and, I get a huge smile from people after my classes, hugs, and thank you's! I am not sure in what other profession this happens!
Jill helps me every week to overcome my stiffness and imbalance experienced as a result of Parkinson's disease. Jill has opened the world of Yoga for me - focusing not only on the body but the mind-body connection. Jill is generous with her vast knowledge of the practice and is a wonderful teacher and person.
I have take both individual and group classes from Jill. She is a very knowledgeable and professional teacher. Her ability to adapt yoga poses to a wide range of ages and physical abilities is amazing and her encouraging style is very affirming and motivating.
I usually ask them several questions before we get started to assess their goals, health, etc.
I got my first 200 hour yoga certification in 2000, have taken countless workshops and trainings over the years. My last training was a 1 year Advance Yoga Therapy training. Yoga from a therapeutic place, rather than a "workout", although it may be a nice byproduct of moving your body.
